When you suggest a play, tell us what makes it special. Maybe it had you laughing until you cried. Maybe it challenged the way you think. Maybe you saw a production somewhere else and thought, “Knoxville needs to see this!”
We’re interested in hearing about all kinds of theatre—from hilarious comedies and gripping dramas to mysteries, classics, musicals, experimental works, and everything in between.

Please remember that submitting a play is a suggestion, not a guarantee that TKD will produce it. Our season selection process considers many factors, including artistic merit, audience appeal, available resources, casting, production requirements, licensing, and the overall balance of a season.
But every great idea has to start somewhere.
